Hey Everyone! I would like to take a moment and introduce myself and my program!
My name is Baylee and I live in the southern part of Missouri.
I’ve been an animal lover all of my life, growing up on a farm and my parents raising and showing English Bulldogs and I always had Either Australian Shepherds or Border Collies. Growing up, my Grandpa showed and hunted with hounds and I fell in love with the hound breed. I had always wanted a “hound dog” but I was told “when you grow up and move out, you can own one of those hound dogs”. Well, fast forward to 2018 and I had the opportunity to purchase my first “hound” and it was a Basset Hound. I fell head over heels for this breed. Bassets are not for everyone since they are stubborn and they will test your patience. However, they are the most loving, comical, loyal dogs I’ve ever had.
I currently live on a “funny farm” with chickens, goats, cattle, horses, kunekune pigs, Basset Hounds, and 1 corgi I bottle fed and saved at 12 hours old.
I started going to AKC events in 2022, every year I attend more and more events and hoping to start showing a lot more regularly this year. My dogs are all inside and outside. They come and go from my house often. I also have a 14x40 building with heat and air and a large yard just in case I’m not going to be home for a few hours and it’s nice outside and I want them to enjoy the sunshine. When I’m home and doing yard work or chores they have the opportunity to run wild over the entire farm and do what hounds do best, get dirty, use their noses, and find things you didn’t know existed.
All of my dogs are Akc registered, all of my dogs have champion lines, some have akc points, and all of my dogs have been Genetically Tested through pawprints.
All but two of my “kids” have been imported from Europe. I am picky on the quality I have because I want to strive to better the breed. I am small scale and these “dogs” mean the world to me, I strive to breed to the best of my ability and all of my dogs must meet a certain criteria or they will be fixed. I want my Basset hounds to be Breed Standard with AKC and to Better The Breed.
All of my puppies are born and raised in my home. They are all socialized and desensitized with a little bit of everything. My puppies do not grow up in a kennel setting. They are used to a TV, Radio, people, dishwasher, washer and dryer, talking loud, kitchen noise, rain on a metal roof, and a room bot that drives everyone crazy!

Harley- Purchased in the states. Very independent and could care less about anything or anyone. Very quiet. Not sure she knows how to howl! lol 💯 clear on testing
Rain- Soon to be Neutered boy. Purchased from Italy 🇮🇹 . Best boy ever. Very soft hearted. 💯 clear on testing.
Rooster- Aka wild man! Purchased from Slovakia 🇸🇰 Loves to talk back and be wild. Favorite place to sleep is in my kitchen on the floor by my sliding door. 💯 clear on testing
Evita- she is my playful girl! She also has one heck of a nose and would track rabbits all day long. From Serbia 🇷🇸 💯 clear on testing
Fedora- such a sweet and soft girl. Just wants to chill in my bedroom or out on the porch. From Serbia 🇷🇸

Velvet- my sweet loving girl, also known as “soggy noodle” she is long and soooo much extra skin but has a skinny waist right now. Hence the nickname! She is absolutely amazing and I love this girl so so much. From Italy 🇮🇹

Tarpon-This boy is a character! He thinks he is the “man” around here and is so funny. Prances around like a king and plays with his toys. Also torments the girls with the toys! He’s from Czech Republic 🇨🇿
